West Virginia Desk and Derrick Club

 As a member of the WVDDC, you will be able to attend each monthly meeting where we have educational speakers involved in the industry, and sometimes, just a field trip for fun!  Some examples of where we have held our meetings in the past...

 The historic Blennerhassett Hotel, steeped in tradition based on the Oil & Gas Boom in the 1800's.  We also visit the Oil & Gas Museum!

 Lambert's Winery, a beautiful, relaxing and fun atmosphere for our meetings.  All highly enjoy this venue!  In 2009, we changed to Roane Vineyard.

 In 2008, a location in Central WV with a drilling rig in action, thanks to Halliburton Energy.

 We try to accomodate each member and hold our monthly meetings in a different location each month.  Mostly, the meetings are rotated between Flatwoods (since it's centrally located to all of our members), Parkersburg, Clarksburg, Buckhannon, and Charleston. 

 We are striving to become more involved with various communitiy activities.  Our 115+ members are dedicated individuals willing to become involved in various activities.

 Each year the WVDDC awards Scholarships to several lucky students who are enrolled in local colleges throughout the state in Engineering classes.

 We have hosted our 3rd Annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon to show our gratitude for all of our supporters, members, and sponsors within the industry.  We couldn't do this without them.

 Our annual Christmas meeting, where the Board of Directors for the following year are announced, and a lovely dinner is shared between members.
