West Virginia Desk and Derrick Club

As a member of the WVDDC, you will be able to attend each monthly meeting where we have educational speakers involved in the industry, and sometimes, just a field trip for fun!  Some examples of where we have held our meetings in the past include:

Historic Blennerhassett Hotel, steeped in tradition based on the Oil & Gas Boom in the 1800's.  We also visit the Oil & Gas Museum!

Lambert's Winery, a beautiful, relaxing and fun atmosphere for our meetings.  All highly enjoy this venue! 

Our annual Golf Outing is held at the Bridgeport Country Club. All proceeds from this event go toward our Scholarship Program. This year's outing will be held on July 17th.

The club went on a fossil dig field trip 3 years ago and it was a big hit!

We try to accomodate each member and hold our monthly meetings in a different location each month.  Mostly, the meetings are rotated between Flatwoods (since it's centrally located to all of our members), Parkersburg, Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Buckhannon, and Charleston. 

We are striving to become more involved with various communitiy activities.  Our nearly 100 members are dedicated individuals willing to become involved in various activities.

Each year the WVDDC awards scholarships to several lucky students who are enrolled in local colleges throughout the state.

We have hosted our 5th Annual Energy Industry Appreciation Luncheon to show our gratitude for all of our supporters, members, and sponsors within the industry.  We couldn't do this without them.

Our annual Christmas meeting, where the Board of Directors for the following year are announced, and a lovely dinner is shared between members.
