2012 Scholarship Program

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED

JANUARY 1, 2012 THROUGH MARCH 15, 2012

Full time college sophomores, pursuing a four year energy related degree from a West Virginia College or University, are eligible to receive a $1000 scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must be enrolled full time (12 credit hours or more) in a West VirginiaCollegeor University in a Bachelor degree Energy related program. Sophomore status.
Applicant must submit college transcript GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Applicant must submit letters of explanation for any internships, leadership roles and or service activities in which you have been involved and provide a short description of each activity.
Please provide a letter of recommendation in a sealed envelope from someone other than a family member or friend (i.e. Employer, Professor, or Clergy qualify).
Preference will be given to students in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Program.
Scholarship awards will be presented at the Annual Energy Industry Appreciation Luncheon and/or sent directly to the recipients’ colleges or universities.
Application packet must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2012. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
